Crown XLS-1502 DriveCore 2 Series

 Details
The Crown XLS-1502 DriveCore 2 is a two channel power amplifier designed to send a clean, balanced sound straight to your speakers. This is an update of the original DriveCore Series, with new LCD screen which is three times larger, making it more user-friendly. There’s also more DSP, so you can have a higher number of signals transferred and a higher quality of audio processed to your speakers.

The DriveCore range by Crown has been greatly popular among those who want good live audio quality that is easy to access. The DriveCore 2 extends these principles to create an industry standard amplifier that will deliver high quality audio without taking long to set up. There's now a bandpass filter installed on each channel to allow better EQ capacity, and a .775Vrms sensitivity input, widening its space for usage, and allowing a good tone to remain even at maximum volume.

The remote control on the DriveCore 2 is a useful tool to allow ease of use at both live events and in the studio. Crown have also equipped it with a sleep mode, a security lock and a backlight dimmer so that the XLS-1502 is never distracting the audience or the engineers at a gig.

Crown are fully aware that any amplifier in a studio or live venue must be able to deal with a variety of impedance. The XLS-1502 can handle a 2, 4, and 8 Ohm Dual, or a 4 and 8 Ohm Bridged impedance, making it usable with just about all instruments. Peakx limiters protect the speakers at maximum output, and the robust exterior shell to make the DriveCore 2 1502 a long lasting companion to any musical environment.
